Peter was so excited running around he almost forgot to get eggs!
Finally he figured out how to pick one up and open it to reveal the candy inside. What, you say his hair looks red in these pictures? Yup, they had fun colored hairspray there so we turned Peter into a red head! A bunch of the kids hair was different colors, it looked like a sea full of bobbing Easter eggs running around.
"Wait a minute mommy...why did you take away that chocolate egg?!? I found that inside my easter egg!" Man, Easter sucks for allergy kids. I might have to bring Peter friendly eggs in my diaper bag for the next one. Almost everything in the eggs he couldn't eat. :(
Peter found some peppermints in one egg. A choking hazard for him, but I let him suck on them. Had to let the kid get SOME kind of treat from his eggs. Thankfully, he gave up on them quick.
Peter got a pretty good stash for such a little kid. We went off in the grass to explore what was inside.
Tasting some Smarties, a candy he can eat! And there's that bright red hair! That was fun to wash out in the tub! The bubbles turned all pink.
Oh, no! An opportunist baby looking for eggs! Get away baby, these are mine!
