Trail Dust Town

Trail Dust Town Part III: Wandering the town

After our train ride we just wondered around Trail Dust Town for a little while. It's a fun little place, all decked out for the old West. It was our first time taking Peter there. We decided to lock him up in the city jail. I wish I had one of these at home! Great for time outs! Except that he had so much FUN in it.

They don't have a lock on the door so Peter was able to break out of the jail pretty easily.

He decided to swing past the Saloon for a drink.

Daddy didn't mind getting a drink either!

Peter enjoyed the town square.

He loved exploring a whole new time period!

The town square had a nice patch of grass for a picnic of ham sandwiches. Peter got a special treat of some avocado. Yum! There's a really pretty town gazebo there too.

We also went on the carousel. Daddy doesn't like the carousel, something about the lights and music freak him out. So mommy went on it with Peter a couple times. We had little sheriff stickers that meant we could ride as many times as we wanted! Peter was a little apprehensive but they have a belt on the horses to strap him in and mommy taught him how to hold the big gold handle. By the end he still wasn't having fun, but it was a lot less scary.
