Breakers Waterpark

Thursday we went to a Mom's Morning at Breakers Waterpark.

It was a beautiful morning and we got up super early so we could be there during the discount time of 8-10am. John was off work so he got to come with. It was the first time we had been there.

The water was FREEZING! It felt like they had stocked it with ice the day before. I suppose this is nice when it gets over 100 degrees in the afternoon but at 8am its a little hard to handle. We didn't spend too much time in the water.

We met up with about a dozen of our friends from my mommy group. Here Stephanie is trying to teach Peter and her baby Jack how to give each other high fives.

After we got out of the water we went to a little play area they had. Such a great idea to have other places for kids to play. They had a bunch of little play houses, climbing equipment and slides.

Peter liked opening and closing the doors and windows on the houses. He enjoyed closing them and keeping everybody out.

He had lots of fun in the many houses they had scattered around.

One of his favorite things recently is slides. He likes the one at the mall because he can climb it on his own and when he gets to the top he will turn himself around and go down feet first on his tummy.

At the waterpark daddy helped him to go down on his bottom.

It was a fun day! I think we'll go back a little later in the summer when the water has warmed up a bit.
