7-Eleven

One thing I will definitely miss when we move to a different part of town is the 7-eleven at our corner. They are the nicest people and our family has developed a nice friendship with the owner and several of the workers over there. It's a real family-friendly place and one of the employee's is allowed to bring her 2-year old girl to work with her. After our finger painting playdate Peter and I decided to head over to 7-eleven and say "Hi" to them.

The owner of the store played little kid music and the kids were bopping around to the alphabet and numbers. She even helped them to do the Hokey-Pokey!

Peter liked to hold Aliejah's hand and they went off to explore the store together. They walked around the boxes, up and down aisles, and even behind the counter together.

She tried to show Peter how to color, but he just doesn't care for that yet.

Here they are behind the counter helping the customers. We've already put the kids to work!

Aliejah introduced Peter to her pet frog. He showed her his new trick: He knows where EYES are!

Peter showed Aliejah the TRUCK that was outside.

Peter played for nearly an hour at the store. They got along pretty well and had fun dancing together. It was funny to watch the little girl because she doesn't get to be around other kids much. She gave Peter the funniest looks sometimes trying to figure him out. But then again, Peter is a funny kid!
