Guam - Park & Jamaican Grill

Yesterday we spent the morning at the park. Peter played on the playground for a little while.

We then decided to just wander around the park because it was right next to the ocean and had some beautiful views.

It has been pretty windy and their were 10 foot tall waves crashing on the reef. It was quite the sight to see. Kinda makes for a hard beach day though. Peter's hair was flying everywhere.

Peter still liked to pick up rocks and tried throwing them at the waves.

The wind was also knocking down coconuts. Peter thought they were balls. He tried to kick them but they were pretty heavy. He ended up dropping Chewy to try and carry the coconut around.

We circled around Paseo Stadium and ended up at Chamorro Village. They have a restaurant called Jamaican Grill with a nice outdoor patio so we decided to have lunch.

Peter liked the little umbrella hats that came in our drinks.

Dad got spoiled by having some Yellowfin Tuna and a bunch of local foods.

Peter got spoiled too. The chef offered to steam Peter his own unseasoned Mahi Mahi. Woohoo! Peter had a full meal of fresh fruit, rice and local fish!

For dessert we stopped at a stand for some shaved ice. Peter never had flavored ice before. He thought it was awesome!!

I think we officially have an island boy!!
