Pirate Party

Last weekend we went to a pirate birthday party for Peter's friend Jesse, who was turning 3. Peter got to wear his skeleton skateboard shirt so he was excited.

You may be able to take the boy out of the Superman outfit, but you can't take the Superman out of the boy! Peter still insisted on doing his Superman pose!

Peter made a quick beeline for the goodies and "treasure" scattered on the table.

Both he and the birthday boy have the same personality...they were both running around with oodles of necklaces bouncing on their chests.

Sadly, Peter had to get put in time out because he kept running out into the street. He got grounded inside the house for about half the party for repeatedly not listening and bolting towards the street. (He was trying to run to the car and get his Superman costume from the backseat.) Don't feel too bad for him though...there were tons of toys and friends inside too.

At the end of the party Peter got to try a pinata for the first time. He loved being able to hit something with a big stick! He hated having to give other kids a turn.

Once the big kids got at the pinata they tore it apart! Peter ran in to get some "treats".

He ended up very happy with a big bag of treats.
