Our little boy has turned into a total duck in the water. (He's not a fish yet because he doesn't like getting his head wet.) He waddles around in the kiddie pool with the biggest smile on his face. This year he can play in it all by himself, but he loves chasing other kids or being chased by them. I was very happy that the water was heated and nice and warm for the kids.
"Peter, what do you think of the pool?"
As the sun went down is started to get chilly so we got out of the pool and went back to our blanket to change clothes. Peter gets his pj's on, they are nice and cozy and since he almost always falls asleep on the way home it makes sense. We ate our dinner and finished it off with ANOTHER cupcake!
Peter then went to play on the playground for a bit. He loves the swings, slides, and ladders.
Peter's favorite thing about visiting here though is chasing down tennis balls in the empty tennis courts. A bunch of little kids his age all battle it out racing around for abandoned balls. He gets a lot of energy out and is ready to go home and get some rest. It was a long day but a lot of fun!
