It was a little crazy. I think the count was over 40 mommies and 1-2 kids each. When they said "GO" it was every kid for themselves. Of course, the older kids grabbed most of the eggs, but we were able to sneak out from under them. (Can you see us in the distance? Jen is is bright blue.)
Peter found his first Easter egg!!!
We couldn't have any chocolate because after all, it is Tucson. So they were stuffed with things like goldfish crackers, pretzels, animal cookies, and jelly beans. Yum-yum!
Peter found a couple eggs and loved his first taste of animal cookies.
He liked to shake the eggs like maracas. They made fun noises. Every once in a while they'd just break open and he'd have new treats.
He did NOT want to give up his eggs. I had a hard time getting them away from him. Sidenote: Peter seems to want to transition from 2 naps down to 1 nap. This was at his usual morning nap time so he's a little glazed over. BUT silly boy fights me if I try 2 naps these days. Oh well.
We had lots of fun! We got to play with other kids and mommies and just enjoyed being outside. We spent alot of time playing on the playground too. I'll post those pictures soon.
