The Lesson of "NO" begins (+Video)

Today Peter was all over the place! I'd turn around for 1 second and he'd be getting into anything and everything possible. ACK! I can't wait for him to be feeling better so I can get him back out to playgroups. His energy level is coming back and he's burning it crawling into every nook and crany. By the afternoon he seemed to actually recognize the word NO and would stop what he was doing and look at me...inevitably with a big grin on his face! Such a trouble-maker!!!

BTW, there's an updated Xmas list is on the side of the webpage. I think we'll need a baby gate for the kitchen! (Though I admit, mom has her own list of behaviors to correct herself!)

The best one though was at one point I came out of the kitchen into the living room to find that he had fallen into one of his little toy boxes and had gotten his butt stuck! I couldn't help but laugh!!

MILESTONE NOTE: While standing in the kitchen today Peter let go of the fridge and stood on his own...it must have lasted over 5 seconds before he decided he wanted to sit down! And then he sat on his own. :-D

Anyways, this is the SHORT list of when I said "No!" to him today.

No playing and splashing in the pet's water bowl.
No dumping the pets water bowl all over the kitchen so mom has to snatch up baby and run for a towel.
No knocking over all the shampoo bottles in the bathroom.
No trying to drop toys into the toilet.
No eating mom's hair, especially when its still on her head!!!
No climbing on your chair then trying to climb onto the back of your chair then falling off the chair.
No pulling the phone cord because the phone will fall on you.
No eating mom's camera.
No reaching into the dishwasher to try to eat the dishwasher soap.
No trying to climb on and ride the dog.
No unwinding the tubes of the vaccum.
No eating mom's grocery list.
No standing when I'm trying to change your diaper.
No coming into the kitchen when the oven is open and mom has hot things in her hands.
No eating mommy's favorite magnets.
No chewing on mom's iPod.

I love the baby in the box. He is too cute! That would have been so funny to see his expression when he first landed in the box. I love seeing him so happy as he gets into so much. Good luck Mommy. It's payback time for you :)

Love you all!
