Palmer Men & Trains

Peter's grandpa Marvin was in Phoenix with the family for Thanksgiving this year. It was really neat to see all the boys together and get to spend some boy bonding time.

The Palmer grandparents had gotten us a family gift they had been waiting a while to give us. They gave John a box to open and inside was an old mid-century complete train set.

John's dad and the Palmer side of the family have always had train sets up for Christmas and now that we have our own little family they wanted to contribute our first train set. I know John has many fond memories of trains running around his home growing up. They circled the Xmas tree, had tunnels and miniture cities, went up and down over 3 layers of trains. It's one of his favorite memories of Christmas.

John and his dad went right to work trying to set it up and giving us all a sample test run. Peter got to watch a little of it too. He liked looking at the choo-choo train.

Peter liked to watch the train go round and round the track.

It even has its own smoke and whistle! What a fun new train!
