Feeding the Geese (video)

One morning in Iowa Peter, Jen, & Uncle Ben headed down to Weed Park in Muscatine with some old pieces of bread to feed the ducks. It is something we used to do quite a bit when I was a little girl. The moment we got out of the car it was crazy! The pond has been taken over by tons of geese and they were HUNGRY!


Peter had a great time digging out pieces of "toast". (He has a weird thing where he calls all bread products "toast".) He didn't understand the concept of breaking them apart and some lucky ducks got a full piece of bread for breakfast.


Uncle Ben helped feed the ducks and geese too. Plus, he got to play defense whenever the geese got a little too aggressive trying to get a piece!


Peter loves spending time with his Uncle Ben! Aren't they a cute pair?!?


Since it was one of Peter's first times feeding such a crazy group I had to catch some video! He also learned the word "geese"!
